Welcome to La Crique Surf House! Thank you for choosing us as your destination. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our guests, we have outlined our Terms and Policies below. By confirming your booking, you agree to adhere to these terms.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that plans may change, and unforeseen circumstances can arise. To ensure fairness and clarity, our cancellation policy is as follows:

CANCELLATION 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE BOOKING DATE:
30% of the total booking amount will be retained. -
CANCELLATION 4 DAYS BEFORE THE SCHEDULED DATE:
50% of the total booking amount will be retained. -
NO-SHOW ON THE DAY OF ARRIVAL:
100% of the accommodation cost will be charged. -
REBOOKING OPTION:
Guests may rebook to other dates without losing their payment, provided the cancellation is made at least 14 days in advance. -
EARLY DEPARTURE:
No refund will be issued for unused nights or services in the event a guest chooses to leave before the end of their booked stay, for any reason.
We encourage all guests to consider their travel plans carefully and acknowledge the inherent risks of travel before confirming their booking.
PAYMENT POLICY
To secure your reservation, La Crique Surf House requires payment of the full amount. To accommodate various needs, we offer flexible payment options:

STANDARD INSTALLMENTS:
A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. Payments can be made in three installments, with the final payment completed no later than 30 days before your arrival date. For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, two installments are allowed, with the final payment due at least 14 days before arrival. -
FULL PAYMENT:
The final payment must be made no later than 4 weeks prior to your arrival.
IMPORTANT: La Crique Surf House reserves the right to cancel bookings if payments are not received by the specified deadlines. Guests will receive an email reminder before cancellation.
MINIMUM STAY
A minimum stay of 2 nights applies to all bookings. Single-night reservations are not accepted unless explicitly agreed upon in writing by La Crique Surf House.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: 2:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and is subject to availability. It cannot be guaranteed.
Meal Policy on Arrival & Departure Days:
For groups that have booked a meal package including lunch, please note that lunch is not included on the day of check-in or the day of check-out. Meal packages apply to full days of stay only.
SURF CONDITIONS DISCLAIMER
La Crique Surf House is located on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, where surf conditions are subject to natural variation and cannot be guaranteed. Swell size, wave quality, wind, and ocean conditions change daily and are entirely outside our control.
We do not offer refunds, credits, or compensation of any kind due to unsatisfactory surf conditions, flat spells, or unfavorable weather during your stay.
By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept this inherent uncertainty as part of the surfing experience. We will always do our best to guide you to the best available conditions during your stay.
FORCE MAJEURE & CANCELLATION BY LA CRIQUE SURF HOUSE
In the rare event that La Crique Surf House must cancel a booking due to circumstances within our control, guests will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
However, in the event of cancellation caused by circumstances beyond our control — including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, civil unrest, or acts of war — La Crique Surf House will not be liable to provide a cash refund. In such cases, guests will be offered a credit voucher of equivalent value, valid for 18 months from the original booking date.
We strongly recommend that all guests hold travel insurance that covers trip cancellation for such eventualities.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance covering active sports and surfing is mandatory for all guests. By confirming your booking, you confirm that you hold, or will hold prior to arrival, a valid travel and health insurance policy that includes coverage for surfing and water sports activities.
La Crique Surf House accepts no responsibility for any costs arising from medical treatment, evacuation, trip cancellation, lost luggage, or any other incident that would typically be covered by travel insurance.
Failure to hold adequate insurance does not reduce your liability or entitle you to compensation from La Crique Surf House.
TERMS OF SERVICE
By booking with La Crique Surf House, you agree to the following terms:
1. Participant Registration and Age Requirements
Registration of personal data is mandatory for all participants. The minimum age for participants is 18 years. Minors must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or an adult with written parental authorization.
2. Health & Medical Disclosure
It is the sole responsibility of each guest to ensure they are in suitable physical condition to participate in surfing, yoga, or any other activities offered.
Guests are required to disclose, prior to arrival and in writing, any chronic illnesses, physical conditions, disabilities, or medical needs that may affect their participation or require special accommodation. This includes but is not limited to heart conditions, epilepsy, back or joint injuries, respiratory conditions, and any recent surgery or injury.
La Crique Surf House will treat all disclosed information confidentially and use it solely to ensure appropriate preparation and safety.
Failure to disclose relevant medical information releases La Crique Surf House from any liability arising from incidents related to undisclosed conditions.
3. Liability for Accidents and Medical Expenses
Surfing and ocean activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, accidents, and property damage. Participation is entirely at the guest’s own risk.
La Crique Surf House, its staff, and its partners accept no liability for accidents, injuries, medical expenses, or any harm arising during activities or during the stay.
Guests are required to hold comprehensive travel, health, and activity insurance prior to arrival.
4. Surfboard Use and Damage Policy
Surfboards and equipment provided by La Crique Surf House are the guest’s responsibility from the moment of use. Guests are expected to handle all equipment with reasonable care.
In the event of damage to a surfboard — including dings, breaks, or fin damage — the cost of repair or replacement will be assessed and charged to the responsible guest. No exceptions.
5. Optional Surfboard Insurance
La Crique Surf House offers optional surfboard insurance at a flat rate of €30 per booking, regardless of the length of stay. This is a one-time, non-refundable payment.
Surfboard insurance covers guests against repair or replacement costs in the event of accidental damage to La Crique equipment during their stay.
Insurance must be purchased at the time of booking or prior to first use of equipment. It cannot be added retroactively after damage has occurred.
Surfboard insurance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. Guests who decline insurance remain fully liable for any damage caused.
6. Changes to Services
La Crique Surf House reserves the right to make adjustments to services due to unforeseen circumstances, provided that the essential offerings remain unchanged.
7. Image Usage Authorization
By participating in our activities, you authorize La Crique Surf House to use photos or videos featuring you for promotional or advertising purposes, unless you explicitly state otherwise in writing prior to your arrival.
8. Equipment Care
Participants are responsible for the care and maintenance of all equipment provided by La Crique Surf House. Damages or losses due to negligence — beyond what is covered by the optional surfboard insurance — will be charged at the full cost of repair or replacement.
9. House Rules & Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to treat the property, staff, and fellow guests with respect at all times.
- Noise must be kept to a reasonable level after 11:00 PM and in all indoor common areas.
- Smoking is not permitted inside any area of the property.
- Common areas — including the kitchen, bathrooms, and shared spaces — must be kept clean and left in good condition for other guests.
La Crique Surf House reserves the right to remove any guest from the property without refund if their behavior is deemed disruptive, aggressive, dangerous, or otherwise incompatible with the wellbeing of other guests or staff. This applies at our sole discretion and without obligation to provide justification.
10. Additional Activities and Excursions
Excursions or activities not included in the package price are subject to minimum participant requirements and date availability. La Crique Surf House reserves the right to cancel or reschedule such activities if these conditions are not met.
Pre-booked excursions and add-ons are non-refundable once confirmed.
11. Transfer Services
Transfer services are available at an additional cost, calculated per person, per trip, and based on availability. Some transfers may be arranged through specialized local agencies.
Departure from accommodation will typically be scheduled 3 hours before flight time.
La Crique Surf House is not liable for any accidents, delays, damages, or costs arising from third-party transfer services.
12. Travel Documentation
Guests must hold a valid passport or ID card and secure any necessary visas for their trip. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the trip’s start date.
La Crique Surf House accepts no responsibility for guests denied entry due to inadequate documentation.
GROUP BOOKINGS
Lead Person Responsibility
When a booking is made on behalf of a group — whether by a private individual, a travel organizer, a corporate entity, or a B2B partner — the person making the booking (the “lead person”) confirms that they have the authority to act on behalf of all participants in the group.
The lead person accepts full financial and contractual responsibility for the entire group, including the total booking cost, any applicable cancellation charges, amendment fees, and damage costs incurred by any member of the group during the stay.
All group members are bound by these Terms and Policies. It is the lead person’s responsibility to ensure that all participants have read and accepted these terms prior to arrival.
Group Partial Cancellations
If individual members of a group cancel after the booking has been confirmed, each cancellation will be treated as an individual cancellation and assessed under the standard cancellation policy above.
The lead person is responsible for any amounts owed as a result. The overall group booking will not be renegotiated due to partial cancellations.
B2B Organizers & Reselling Policy
La Crique Surf House welcomes partnerships with travel agencies, retreat organizers, corporate wellness providers, and other B2B partners.
However, any reselling or redistribution of La Crique Surf House packages or services to third parties must be agreed upon in writing in advance.
Unauthorized reselling — including offering La Crique packages at different prices without written approval — gives La Crique Surf House the right to cancel the booking at any time and claim full compensation at standard published rates.
La Crique Surf House cannot be held responsible for any pricing discrepancies or disputes arising from unauthorized third-party sales.
By proceeding with your booking, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these terms.
